Chocolate Cheesecake for Breakfast

I just finished having another spoon full of cheese cake for breakfast. It's the biggest "treat" breakfast I've had in a LONG time. About 30 years ago I treated myself to a Haggan Das ice cream for breakfast just before I moved in with my Mom after I was fired from my job. Chocolate Cheese cake for breakfast, yum! What's the best treat that you gave yourself for breakfast? How long ago did you do it?

I think here few people will have an ice cream for breakfast. Having a chocolate cheese cake is wonderful for breakfast. Usually I have bread, noodles or cakes etc. for breakfast.

@BearArtistLady I don't know whether this link will be useful for you If you have a Kindle, you can download it and read it from your Kindle. Or you can install Kindle app to your phone or tablet, it can also work.

When I lived in Thailand for a year I would love to have either noodles or rice for breakfast. I would top it with a bit of milk and maybe I would add an egg. It was either that or Spring Rolls. I am looking for a replacement cookbook with S.E.Asian recipes in it so I can enjoy the diet I had in Thailand. Unfortunately the one I did have was burned up when my house was burned down. Hummm, rice for breakfast...that sounds good! Thanks for the idea!!!

Wow!!! Well, the best treat I gave myself were chocolates, as well as ice cream and mango cake. This happens usually at Christmas time where we have a lot of deserts at home.

If there is chocolate in the house forget breakfast foods!!! I'll eat chocolate right away. The mango cake sounds yummy! Is it made from scratch? Is there a place I can get a recipe? I love mangoes, I had been given a sample of the fruit and that was it, I instantly fell in love with the fruit. If I had a mango plant in the yard it would be treated like royalty!

@BearArtistLady I do agree with you that some breakfast meals are greasy and I am not into it. I prefer having cereals or cakes.

I've never been a good person about breakfast. Somehow eggs and such just don't turn me on. Of course being away from home we were at the mercy of the restaurants and the one near the motel we were staying at was AWFUL! The eggs were greasy and cold, the pancakes were like man hole covers, the bacon was half cooked. We only ate breakfast there so I can't really judge the rest of their food, but if it's anything like their breakfasts....ICK!

@BearArtistLady I like very crisp crunchy bacon. Not limp or chewy.

I love bacon as long as it is properly done. As I just said the restaurant that we ate at up north was so awful! The bacon was half cooked and greasy. Bill had to order his extra crispy otherwise he couldn't eat it. I love mine where the whole piece is just at that point of crispness that it crunches when you bite it. But the cheesecake morning I just couldn't face anything, but then my eyes lit on the left over piece of cheesecake and that was the perfect breakfast.

Yum, I'll also opt for cherry cheesecake and coffee for breakfast. Oh, also don't forget the whipped cream.

I'm a tea drinker anyway, and the sandwiches sound great too. I just bought some fresh bread yesterday....but it doesn't compare to my making fresh homemade bread. I started making bread when I was 13 and have made bread ever since. I don't make it for day to day sandwiches, but for dinners and rolls I use my bread recipe and have a ball. Kneading the bread is so relaxing. I remember when I made my first loaf of bread. My Mom called from work and I told her what I was doing. She fully expected that it would fail and was so surprised when she got home and there were two loaves of bread fresh and hot from the oven on the counter. She couldn't wait for dinner, she had to have some and it was as good as it smelled. She told me that she tried to make bread and it failed miserably, the wild critters wouldn't even eat it!

There are days that I will eat only toast and have my morning cup of tea. I love lightly toasted toast with extra butter. This morning it's yogurt because I am worrying about Bill my boyfriend/husband after his surgery.
