Or have you ever been? I started a new job back in February and the guy who was hired with me was talking about how in years past he was a bus driver, on inner city routes in the metro area here for 7 years! Have you ever had this profession or considered it? What was it like?
I am not a terribly great driver so I cant imagine driving a 40 foot bus. I dont even like driving SUVs. Especially with wintery weather conditions that occur up here in minnesota every winter. I also would worry about unruly passengers. I have taken the bus for many years when working downtown and going to college, and the clientele at times would be difficult to manage.
Then again, it sure would be nice to not be stuck in a cubicle. What are your thoughts? Oh yeah, and Happy Friday!

I saw a dude last night driving a raised pick up. You know what the say about men with big pick ups, lack in other areas, said by every lady I ever met. Anyway, this guy went further raised big tires and stretched them out. Looked pretty silly and think poor suspension on that truck.
Being a bus driver is a lot like being a bartender stand up for yourself and the regulars will have your back meaning no one will mess with you. I always did find that cool.

@maezee I have not because I would run over all dumb people and kick the rest of my bus and corporate America does not like that, tends to hurt profits. I have been here off on, just have not seen you either, bad timing I guess.

No and never! Same reason, I can't imagine driving a big bus, and there are so many lives that I need to take care of. I salute all the responsible bus driver, specially those who really care about their passenger. I even once heard some of them, shouting... that his passengers will be late at work and keep on buzzing on the cars illegally park in front of us... heheehhehehe... And he really care, because he don't stop in every corner to get a passenger... If he sees there are too many busses lined-up on a bus stop he just passed them by. And indeed, that day I was able to reach my destination a few minutes before my job interview.

I'd rather just endanger my own life with the way I drive

Usually here in our countru, it is not advisable for women to drive a bus. It will cause more traffic.
