Heard great news. The nanny who killed two little children will get life without parol!
My granddaughter skated with the one who survived, because she was out shopping with her mother. Dad was away on a business trip. Such a horror to come home to see.
Mom and dad went on to have two more children, which they love. However, nothing will bring back the other two.
We are so happy they now have closure and that the nanny will rot in prison for the rest of her life!

People need to be very careful of who they entrust their children to nowadays. I'm happy these parents have obtained justice and the nanny got what she deserved.

@DianneN Yes, it was on the news! So your granddaughter skated with one of them - did you meet them too? Ugh, the guilty ones all try to get away with it by pleading insanity, right? I don't get the part where she said she tried to warn her own family about not feeling well . . . I mean, she is the one who ultimately chose to do this act!

@DianneN I read a bunch of news stuff online - not sure where I read about it, but I know I saw it. Probably ABC?
This case must hit you guys quite personally as you know the family. Oh it's good to hear they were able to keep growing their family and move on, but still - how tragic for that beautiful family. They are strong . . . I would probably crumble being so heartbroken.
She was a sicko. I read she was depressed and possibly envious of those kids? No excuse to kill kids - or anyone!

@1hopefulman It is senseless. Thank you. Hopefully, the cast can come off in two weeks or so and she can do her therapy and get back on the ice.

YAY! Finally justice. I would probably be in jail and her in the grave if she killed my children.

That is great news, Dianne. But I am sorry that two children had to die from a bad person. They dont deserve that.

@DianneN Indeed. But still sad that the two children will not come back. Did the nanny feel any remorse for what she did?

Oh yes this was a horrible news we heard here too ..
I often wonder if some people are born evil.. and their evil within just lay dormant for years until one crazy moment it let itself free to create terror..
As always, it's lovely to see that gorgeous smile on your granddaughter's face . ..
