Another of my creations

In a response to my earlier post of my latest knitting creation, @JudyEv posted a pic of her and me in which I was wearing another of my creations. I thought you might like to see the whole thing.
I made this one last year. I sometimes wear it with a red jumper (sweater) underneath, as in the pic, and sometimes with a black one.

Yes, sadly it's becoming a lost art. When I was young, making clothes (whether knitting or sewing) was cheaper than buying them in the shops, so lots of people did it. Now clothes are cheaper to buy than the cost of making them yourself, so it's only people like myself who do it as a hobby.
