It rained only for few minutes but it's a little windy and due to the mini storm we experienced before light rain the electricity department switched off the lights and it's around an hour and it's still not back.
Am feeling sleepy already. I'll switch on the Fan because we have the home UPS and will be sleeping without AC today but weather is good so it'll be fine.
Have you ever slept without AC in summers due to power outage in summers?

I hate when there's a power outage during the summer since it making sleeping very hard for me. I hate being sweaty. Hope your power comes back on soon.

Till early 2000s, long power cuts- beyond 6/7 hours were common even in Delhi. Now we do not have those long power cuts except on some occasions.
Yet we spent a whole night in extreme heat and humidity last year June because our AC had gone for repairs to a workshop then.
It was so tough and we were kind of sleepless then.

@Butterfingers It can be done on your phone, too. My son has a new one. It beats having no power.

That's nice you have generator now. I may buy too but I don't like the hassle to get up again and again to switch it on and off

A few years ago, my AC broke during the hottest part of the summer. The service technician who came out to fix it had to order a new part for it, which meant I would have to go at least one day, if not two, without AC. It ended up being three days. I thought I was gong to die, it was so hot and humid. I had every fan in my house aimed at me, and I still couldn't get comfortable to sleep. I was sweating so badly that my sheets were soaked with perspiration.

@Butterfingers I was very restless. It was very uncomfortable. I got very little sleep those three days.

I have been blessed to have my air condition running during the summer. I did lose air condition power due to a thunderstorm around midnight about two months ago.

Oow.. no matter here... since the temperature is so cold these few last days. Sooo cold... in here called by "bediding" local language and "pancaroba" in national language, it is the transition time between hot and rainy season

Yes, we have slept without AC because we don't have a generator to use during power outage.

we don't have AC at home because it's fine inside, it's cool in summer and warm in winter.
