Which Quality do Your Friends Share?

@shavkat Most of us are multi faceted. For myself, since I'm kindhearted & it's what I gravitate toward in others, that's the one that my friends share. Which ones are important to you? That's probably the ones that most, if not, all of your friends have in common.

@GypsyButterfly I only keep people who know the words respect and honest. If they cannot do these, then they can walk away

@Shavkat Those matter very much. My friends also have that. If someone can't or won't treat us that way, they shouldn't be in our life.

@kareng I'm glad you & your friends have turned the difficult times into a positive & are able to display kindness toward others. I can relate. The various abuses & traumas have helped me be more understanding, compassionate, caring, giving, open minded, accepting. I know what it's like to go through it & want others to know they have support.

@GypsyButterfly That is right. Been there, done that, know how it feels, so you can know how to react to others going through the same thing. The world definitely needs more compassion and kindness.

@kareng I agree. I'm not perfect, by any means. I get frustrated & irritated. Overall, I try to remember, walk a mile. I don't know what anyone else is going through. I don't want to, inadvertently, add to their burden.

@GypsyButterfly yes, we do that too. We just discuss without anyone being angry.

@prinzcy It's great to have a friend like that. My BFF is a guy. It's the same. I feel that we really understand each other or certainly try to. If we're not sure about something, we ask for clarification.

@prinzcy We've gotten upset at times. That's because we've only known each other a little over a year. We have a level of closeness that's stronger than with others. We're still learning. I'm going through inner work & healing. As he has. We can still get triggered sometimes. But, we talk it out.

@GypsyButterfly oh sorry, most of my friends have all of those qualities listed. But not in just one person.

@lady1993 They have, all of what? All of the qualities you have and/or like? If you wouldn't mind clarifying.

@lady1993 That's probably why you're friends with them, because they have similar traits that are important to you

@shxrubia That's unfortunate. There's different reasons people behave that way. Being insecure or not able to trust are two of them. Hopefully, your being a good friend will help them be able to overcome whatever issues they face. Believe me, from my own experience, there's a lot I've kept hidden. No one even knows. Though, I finally have a good support system & am sharing more of myself.
