Do you eat your fries after your burger?

I was just thinking about this. Whenever I eat a burger or sandwich and have fries or chips on the side I almost always eat the sandwich first then eat my fries. My husband and kids usually finish their fries right when their burger is done or before.
I think it came from my mom. She used to tell us we had to finish our sandwiches before we could enjoy our chips with our lunch. Chips were the reward for finishing the real food. I did it in school even when she wasn't around and to this day. I was just sitting here eating a sandwich and my bag of Doritos was unopened. I had to force myself to open it and munch on a few inbetween each bight of sandwich, lol. It's funny the things that stick with you from childhood.

I eat both at the same time,, take a few bites of my burger then munch on my fries. My husband eats his fries first then eats his burger. Potatoe chips .. My husband eats his sandwhich first then his chips, me I eat a little of both.

Do you ever get filled up by the fries? I am usually so stuffed after the burger I can't finish my fries. If I ate them the other way around I wouldn't finish my burger or I would try to stuff myself to get it all down and not waste my money.

Yes. I too do the same thing. First I finish of eating Burger, and then I enjoy eating chips with tomato ketchup. I really enjoy this way. We must check out this wether men and women do alike or different. We will just see the responses and then we know.

It will be interesting to see. I think it is better to finish the better part of the meal first. At least the burger has some sort of nutritional value, especially if you have tomato and lettuce and stuff on it. We are constantly telling our kids to stop eating the fries and finish their burger/pizza/macaroni or whatever it was they ordered because they fill up on the junk. Same reason we no longer let them order milk or soda with lunch when we go out. They only drink water now.

Normally I eat my fries along with my burger it tastes better that way.

hmmm.. your topic makes me hungry... i eat burger and fries together.. :) i take a bite at the burger, then i'll eat some fries. haha! do i sound like i haven't eaten for days? :D
when i'm done with the burger, i finish off whatever is left in my fries (with ketchup).
I have a friend... he stuffs his burger with fries, and eats everything all together! you can see the fries coming out from the burger. haha

It made me really have a taste for a juicy burger even though I was eating a sandwich at the time, lol. We are going to have bacon cheese burgers for dinner tomorrow because I have such a taste for them.

fries get cold fast so i eat the fries first. they don't taste good anymore 5 minutes after they are removed from the heat.

For some reason I always eat my fries first them my burger. Maybe its because I dont want my fries to get cold

I enjoy burgers and fries. I like to eat some of my fries first. Then I eat the burger. After that I eat the renaing fries. I like it that way.
