Rainfall Has Arrived for the Day

As predicted, the rain has arrived. And will visit all day today.
But that is ok with me. No plans to go outside.
Hopefully the cooler fall air will be here soon.
Nothing like listening to the raindrops on the screen room roof.
A nice light rain is always a good thing.

I love to go outside in the morning when it has rained in the night. A wonderful smell of oregano and wet pine trees and dry earth saying 'thankyou'.

Our weather guy said the rain is about 85 miles wide, then it’ll be out of here.

I wish we could also have got some rainfall at this time, but the chances are rare.
The high pollution due to multiple factors is taking its toll.
First I had some flu, cold and cough.
Now another member.
I would try to get some rest this weekend.

Indeed it is. Hawaiian Islands, got drought, especially Maui. On the island that I live on, Oahu, cows going to residential homes for grass. Though the rancher feeds them good to they probably smell the grass in neighboring community and the cows roam to the yards. Rancher gathers them and tries to keep cows corralled.

We got the rain today too but not until mid afternoon. I'm another day or so we could get some snow as the temps fall during the night. At least it's supposed to be less than an inch.

The power went out for 4 hours last night during the rain. I have no idea why except that the power does have a tendency to go out from time to time for no apparent reason. :-) In January we will have our standby generator installed. Yay!
