@TheHorse You'll have to make your own arrangements for shipping. I'm only the point-of-contact for Mother Nature right now.

I'm one of those who wait for the final clearance sales . . . I will dig through what's left . I think I can deal with snow crumbs .

@DaddyEvil I would if I could. Though I don't think all that snow would make it through the trip home. I guess I could fill gigantic water tanks with melted snow and use it in our drought. Hey, maybe I just solved our water shortage crisis !

@much2say I guess it all depends on how fast you can convince the truckers to drive. For the right price, I bet you could get most of it to your house without losing more than half of it on the trip.

As long as it all goes, I could be persuaded to drop my price for a truly bulk rate. I talked with the good neighbor for a minute this morning. I think I could persuade him to part with his stock, too. (Pretty and I love those real clearance sales. You never know what you're going to find at a decent price. )

@Vikingswest1 Usually, snowplows don't bother going down the side-streets in our city, just the major roads and the city puts salt down at intersections. I've been seeing large trucks driving back and forth down our street, beating the snow down so cars can, hopefully, manage to get about.

Have fun with that! The last little bit of the miserable sleet storm we had 3 weeks ago is melting away under the rain that has been falling for the second day in a row. It's actually warmer outside today than it has been at my desk first thing in the morning since the first week in January.

@SophiaMorros My first wife always complained about how cold it is here. (My ex finally moved to Hawaii after our divorce was final.) My daughter complains every winter about the cold. (My daughter, Pretty, runs an electric heater in her room and keeps it 80F. When she opens the door, I can't be anywhere close to it or I feel like I'm getting an instant sunburn.) Why do some woman have to be so... uhm... different?

@DaddyEvil The cold has returned. but nothing like what you get to enjoy. NC gets just enough winter for me to appreciate the warmer months but not enough for me to feel like I need to move in with my son and daughter-in-law in Florida for half the year.

@carina75 Thank you. Your sympathy is accepted. The problem we have is that we've been getting too much rain all 2021, so really didn't need more moisture right now. I put in a request with Mother Nature to hang onto the snow and dump it where people need it but she didn't listen.

I think that you actually got more snow then we did this past round. Let's just hope that its a dry spring. I would take you up on your offer, as I love deals, but February we tend to get lots of snow storms, so we will get our own for nothing I'm sure.

@DaddyEvil No, not all areas are like that. I think that is a myth that most Americans believe though. There are plenty of areas in the US which are further north then we are here. Its like not areas of California are beaches, there are mountains with snow on them. Where we used to live we barely got any snow, that area was known as the banana belt region of SW Ontario. Here we are in what is locally known as the snow belt. Alot of our weather is affected by being surrounded by the Great Lakes.

Oh, really? Wow! I always thought Canadians lived in a snow-filled wilderness. (We got another 3.5 cm before the storm stopped here.) Missouri already gets lots of rain compared to other Midwest states. Mother Nature is not being fair, in my opinion.

@porwest Exactly! When I was a kid, I remember us getting a lot more snow in the winter than we do now, too. (I checked and that's true. My area did get several feet of snow at a time back then. The snow I was talking about in this discussion was the only one we've had in several years that was over a foot deep.)
