An expense never comes alone!

I have shared with you that this month is a difficult one, monetarily speaking. Well, this weekend one of our cars, the one I drive, made a strange noise and my husband decided to take it to the mechanic. It had a problem with the exhaust pipe and needed a new radiator. We got an extra bill to pay this month of almost 600€
It was impossible for us to save money this month but at least we didn't need to use our savings to pay all the extra bills.
I hope March will be a better month for us, for now we don't have anything extra to pay but extra expenses show up when least expected.
Any bad surprise with money for you lately?

I had to get new tires for my car so that was an expense I wasn't ready for

Ughhh! I hate when stuff like that happens. Nothing so far...I am knocking on wood as I write this quite literally. I was afraid I was going to have to take the cat to the vet which is always a major wallet hit, but he is not acting sick now, so I am pretty sure he is fine. I was dreading the possibility.

When we went out of town a few weeks ago for a Dr appt, my husband car showed abs-break problems. Then when I was parking the vehicle it sounded like the whole bottom was going to cave in. Thankfully the ride Horne was uneventful. He took it to the mechanics and it was a wheel bearing. They aren't cheap to fix and cost us just under five hundred dollars.
I have savings for the unexpected so that was good.

No, not really. I've actually been working on cutting costs, while keeping the things I need, such as internet access.

I am trying to cut costs too but these extra expenses don't help at all.
