what do they do at 2am and 4am??

One huge mystery has puzzled me about the beauty parlor next to my unit. For over a year now I reckon, they have gone to their shop, opening and closing it after a minute or two. it is like this. there are days that they arrive at 2am and will roll up and down the metal roller which is sooooo annoying. when they enter the shop, they will close it again, but after a minute or two, they will get out and close it again. two hours again, they will arrive. and do the same thing. no customers at 2am and 4am and yet they do it almost everyday. what do you think is their business?

@jstory07, maybe why on earth are they doing this for many years. It's insanity.

They need to refresh the "beauty supplies" they sell on the street for 10 bucks a gram.

So the beauty parlor is just a front for whatever they are doing which sounds like it is not good, or illegal.

Recently we attended the marriage of our brother's son, so I can answer this question for sure. The girls (sister and cousins of the boy) went to beauty parlour in between 2 - 3 am and they back at home at 6 am. I was wondering what they were doing so early in the parlour. They told me many customers are there so it take long time to get ready. They even help to drape the saree which is the best attire while attending marriage ceremony.

No. there are no customers inside. because it is 2am and 4am. the parlor is not even located at the heart of the city. just a village parlor/

That is weird. Is the salon built infront of the house/unit?

They once told to my friend she washes the clothes. Hahaha. Miss Judy they don't live here. I see them come and go. They don't bring their laundry. And why will you wash clothes at 2am or 4am when you can do it while there is no customer. And there is washing machine even to do it for you. But the most surprising of all, why did she tell her such when no one was asking.

Maybe they decided that is the best time to clean the shop in preparation for the day's business.

@Kandae11, that parlor is in the village, few customers. It seems there's something fishy.
