Off to watch foreign movies

We are going to Bunbury in the morning. We are having a mini-break, staying in a hotel within walking distance of a theatre where we’ll watch seven films in three days. We could watch the films individually in our own city but each film would involve driving in and back, probably at night, and trying to find parking each time. Although our way of seeing the films will cost a bit more, we’re treating it as a holiday.
The films are from Finland, New Zealand, Hungary, France, and Iran. The entertainment centre runs a Winter Festival and a Summer Festival. I’m not very good at writing reviews but I’m sure some will bring up some points that I’ll want to talk about here.
It is a shame that we squashing so many films into three days but that’s the way it’s going to be. We’ll have one morning free where we’ll catch up with Vince’s brother and his wife. They live there and we could have stayed with them but we will be out most of the time so thought it probably easier all round if we stayed where we could walk back and forth.
Do you ever watch ‘foreign’ films and do you usually enjoy them?
The photo is of the façade of the entertainment theatre.

@Beestring Bruce lee was my favorite. I even painted a portrait of him. Now my favorite would be Jet Li. - he is the closest l would compare to Bruce Lee - who l consider the best of all time.

You would surely have an interesting time watching the various movies.
Of course, it would have been much better if you could have got to see all the movies in one Centre.
May be not an expert review but I would await personalized opinions on the different movies.
Would any of these movies be in the action-thriller genre?

All Hollywood films would be foreign to Indians. Right?

Yes, we have to read the captions. It does mean you sometimes miss a bit of the action.

I don’t think I’ve seen a foreign film. How limited I am with culture!

The three films must be good ones. So good that you would spend 3 days out there. One of the films is from Iran. What is the film about? I like watching American films mostly but other foreign films are also interesting to me.

We will watch ten films in total. Three on each of Thursday and Friday and two on each of Saturday and Sunday. The Iranian film we watch in just a few hours. It seems to be about a road trip.

I love foreign films, and they're the only kinds of movies I've liked from the last 40 years.. I really love the movies made before my birth, from everywhere from the 1930-70s, especially from Italy, France, Japan, Eastern European, Egyptian.. I do love Finnish film in the 80s (Kaurismaki).
I can't wait to read your thoughts.. I've been struggling to find movies I can stick with in the past 4-5 years.
Some of my favorites would be:
-La Strada
-Umberto D
-Sult
-The Face of Another
-Woman In the Dunes
-Shadows in Paradise

Apart from the film festivals, we don't really watch a lot of films although they have free films once a week in the clubhouse of our village.
