I remember once when I was eating at a McDonald's restaurant, I saw this child, maybe about nine or ten years old or maybe younger went to the counter to order ice cream.
He paid in coins and when the cashier counted the coins, it was short a few cents. The cashier turned to her manager and the manager just reached into his pocket and top up the short.
I thought that was so nice of him. He didn't even wait for the child to thank him. And I think the child didn't even know his money wasn't enough for the ice cream. It really made my day seeing such act of kindness. Made me believe that there are still nice people among us.
Have you ever encountered such acts of kindness?

Aww, that was such a sweet gesture. Bless the manager for his kindness. Yes, I've seen managers do this in shops and food outlets.

That was really nice. I hope there'll be more kind people in this world. The world needs more of them.

That is really wonderful. The child will never even find out that his money wasn't enough to buy ice cream.
Reading this reminds me that there are many kind people. I think I've met kind people but it's a long time I don't remember well.

That was very nice of the manager. I've seen many kind people. Some help the elderly to cross the road, some give food to the homeless.
