Quiet Day Today

I have done very little today because I woke up nauseated and just feeling bad. This was the second time I woke up because I got up at 5 am to fix the hubby something to eat to bring his blood sugar up. His alarm went off and his blood sugar level dropped into the 50's. His insulin has already been reduced a good bit, so this is getting interesting. It would be great if he could get off some of the insulin.
Anyhow, I didn't feel like any coffee (unusual for me!!) and didn't really want any breakfast. I ate a banana. I got the chickens and cats all fed. I played a few games on my cell phone.
Then it hit me and I had to run to the bathroom. After that, I got back in bed and slept for several hours. I felt a bit better when I woke up and drank a glass of Diet Mountain Dew. That managed to stay down.
I managed to get the kitchen cleaned up a bit and fixed a baked potato to eat. I really didn't want anything, but decided I would give it a try.
I think this is the same crud that my husband had last week only he had the runs. I really wish he had not shared with me.
So, I'm going to take it easy and get a few things done online and then go back and clean up the mess he made in the kitchen.
How was your Sunday?

My Sunday was well-spent even though I hadn't slept well. Occasionally, I have unpleasant thoughts in the early morning, such as about the people who hurt me. Last Saturday, I cried my eyes out. So I woke up with puffy eyes. I was awake from 2 to 5 am.
My hubby prepared a nice breakfast while my daughter slept until past 9 am. After breakfast, we played badminton. Then we headed to the grocery store. I helped my daughter with some church homework, and then we napped and played badminton again. It was a fruitful Sunday.
Today is Monday at my end, I am looking forward to another great day.

I hope you start feeling a lot better. Blood sugar lows, suck.

@kaylachan Thanks, Kayla. I took it easy again today and a nap this afternoon.
Yes, hubby feels horrible after a bad low. It leaves him with not much energy to do anything during the day with those wee hours in the morning lows. I'll be glad when we get him back to an insulin level that works to avoid this!

@kareng Well I'm glad you are. And, I know how hubby feels. I get lows sometimes, too.

I hate it when illnesses make the rounds and then I get it the second time! It does happen.

My Sunday was pretty good although the headache still comes and goes a bit. Did the stomach bug mess up your hubby's glucose? It can.
