I don't know who, and honestly, it doesn't matter. Whoever it is, surely must know me somehow. Around here, there are a lot of days I need a smile or a flower (I am sure you can relate to this!) so it's much appreciated, thank you, Linda.

@Orson_Kart My son is around here a lot, as most people here know...I asked him if he had any clue at all and he doesn't either. I do know it's not my grown children. Like I said, they would use a florist and spend too much. And this son has been too sick to think about flowers.

@MarieCoyle - I cut some gladioli in the garden, white and yellow, and now I have flowers.

I hope you have some flowers to enjoy, Anna. My very favorites are daisies and I do love wildflowers. Add in any that smell good, I just love flowers.

@LadyDuck Good for you. They sound very pretty. My grandmother grew gladioli. She was very proud of them.

@MarieCoyle I think you probably do have an angel looking over you!! If you think you know who it is, are you going to say something, or just let the secret keep going?

@moffittjc I should have been more specific, sorry. I know I have at least one angel. But she doesn't live here on earth. She tried to watch over me, guide me, help me whenever she could, but mostly, she just loved me and my children beyond measure. She tried very hard to take the place of my own birth mother, who mostly conveniently forgot she had ever had any children, and was just not present most of the time. She was very frail for nearly 10 years, many of those years spent in a nursing facility. She had an extremely weak heart, and couldn't walk anymore, or stand. But she had the strongest love for us! It's been over 10 years...I can still remember one of our last conversations. I went to see her all the time, drove 3 hours each way several times a week for several years. So, we shared a lot of life together at the end. I remember her saying ''Honey, I am only still here on earth because of how much love we share. But I'm old...and you are going to have to let me go...'' my heart broke. She said the love we shared was the only reason she wanted to get up every day and smile. I was named after her. She held me when I was born, and she knew me longer than anyone on earth has ever known me. I was so lucky to have her in my life. So, she's the angel, for always. I know she looks out for me.

Jeff, you are silly but I love you anyway! I wondered why whoever is sending them wants it to be secret. I don't believe I know of any married men looking for an old side chick, so that's basically out. I know it's a sweet thing to do, for sure, and made me smile. I am enjoying the sweet flowers today. I have often thought I have an angel. I even know who it is, at least I think I do.

If whoever is sending them to me would just deliver them in person, I could catch them on the door cameras. But the sender has always had them delivered.

I honestly have no idea who it is. But I guess that's OK, it does add some joy to my days and some pep to my step, so it's all good! Thank you.

Well, nothing creepy has been going on...yes, it's hard to not be cynical, I agree. I just simply appreciated the trouble the person is going to, and the lovely flowers. Thank you, Jim.

I grew up in an era that giving flowers in any form was a special thing to do. I have never been harmed by accepting flowers.

Well, not to my knowledge...I would think if it were what you mentioned, they would go after someone with more money and influence than I have!
