A strange story from North Branford Connecticut where three bison managed to escape a farm owned by Amanda Maresca on Sunday August 22 and the three bison came back on their own with a fourth bison who was a newborn baby on Tuesday evening. The Guilford Police Department were happy to report on their social media page that the baby bison came back with its relatives safe and sound two days later. Amanda who is the owner of the3B Ranch in North Branford is asking the public to name the baby bison. Amanda believes that the bison left her farm on maternity leave is the reason she left the farm for a short while. Link is upi.com/2551724339497 via @upi

I am in agreement with you on this matter. Animals are smarter than we humans give them credit for.

I'm glad all are back and safe and sound. I love bison. So many were destroyed in our history. I'm glad they are making a comeback.

What a story! Three bison escape and come back with a baby—talk about a wild return! Glad to hear they’re all safe. I wonder what name would Amanda pick for the little one!
