Happy September

Good morning from this side of the planet. It's 10:15 AM here and I am enjoying a short 20 minutes break after two continuous one to one sessions. I have one more one to one session followed by an hour of group art session with 5th graders today. And that's it for work at school. I will be done by 12:15 and reach home by 12:30, right in time to have lunch with my husband who is working from home today.
It's cloudy here with sun peeping in here in between the clouds. The weather is absolutely gorgeous.
We are into the ninth month of the year, inching towards the end of another year. September would be a bit busier at work as it's the end of first semester and some extra work do come in with that. And I also need to get started with my research project for the course that I am doing right now. The submission and presentation is in mid December and it's better to get started on that.
Missed another payout here. It's fourth month in a row. I just need few more cents to reach the threshold. So, very much assured that I am getting paid next month.
The start of September has come with some bad news. Totally heartbreaking to know that our dear mylotter Kharla is no more. She would be deeply missed. May her soul rest in peace. Another one was the passing of a close friend here yesterday. She passed away yesterday due to sudden brain haemorrhage at the age of 44. Life is so unpredictable. I had a chat with her last week. Her husband abandoned them after the diagnosis of their younger daughter's Autism. She was inspiring and strong. A single mother to two and a very active advocate for Autism here. My heart goes for the children. Her son is 23 and recently got into job. Her non verbal autistic girl is 17 and I can't describe in words about the pain she might be going through. I am too worried about her future. She passed away in another city where she was on a trip to educate school teachers about Autism.. There is a prayer on Sunday in her home and I will visit that to find out the situation with the children. Right now, I am getting the updates from social media and common friends. Not sure how we can help the children. We need to discuss in our friends group and decide.
I hope that all is okay in your myLot corner. Take care. I am hoping that September treats us all very well and we have a happy and productive month
Catch you later. The child for my next session should be here any time.

I got both the sad news on the same day within few hours. It was upsetting and I was not in the right state of mind for some time. I hope that the father or grandparents will come forward to take care of her. She needs assistance, she can't function without a support.
I enjoyed all the interactions with Kharla. She will be deeply missed.

It's heartbreaking. We will come to know of the clear picture in few days. I just hope that the father and grandparents come forward to take care of the girl. She is very much dependent and can't do much without assistance. She was truly inspiring. Always bubbly, enthusiastic and full of life.

Best of wishes for September. After very hot June and very humid July, August has been full of good rains.
It did bring waterlogging issues but good for water table and much better air.
Some very sad news to hear.
Life can be very very tough at times.
May God give strength to the families of those who departed.
In fact I interacted with Kharla on a few discussions from June to August.
It was shocking indeed.
And quite tough for the 23 year old Boy and 17 year old girl.
Do hey have any close one to look after them?
I am finally closing on the payout after months and months.
Have a good sleep !

I hope that your ankle condition improves well in time.
I plan to be a little more active here in September.
Else, I am very occupied workwise.
For some time, we are required to work late nights and even on the weekends.
I am also doing an Online course and trying to accelerate.
On the calming side, I have started watching a YT channel where two guys - Vikas and Mani explore many places on their Thar and other vehicles.
I liked a few episodes of their where they went to a heavy snowed place in Uttarakhand.
The best part is their witty interaction and their calculated risk taking.
I might share about them here.
The overall economic situation, persistent inflation and challenges with kids education and overall social situation means one has to be on their toes - figuratively and sometimes literally.
Anyways, have a great Sunday the 8th Sept !

Yes, both news came as shock, and once again we are made to believe that Life is uncertain. I have strained one of the muscles in my ankle, nothing serious but yes I am restricted with my movement. No fracture. It is just a pull and will take it's time to heal. Able to manage with regular work and chores, but not too much of walk. I will miss the prayer meet tomorrow. Once my friends are back, I will get the updates. I hope that the father pitches in in such hours.
I was five cents away from the payout when September started. So, quite hopeful that I will finally make it this time after four long months.
Rain comes with their own issues and lot of them goes to poor and ill maintained infrastructure. But then we do need them. Like every year in recent times, this year too it has bought a lot of havoc in various states.
We all hope that September brings more happiness and peace of mind.

I always enjoyed my interactions with Kharla. She was one mylotter, I looked forward to chat with. She will be deeply missed.
44 is too young. And despite all the challenges in her life, she was a true warrior. A bubbly person who was always full of life. I hope that the father or grandparents pitch in to provide the love and care that she needs.

Kharla was really a kind and gentle soul. All the posts that she made and from her interactions, it was very evident that she was kind and loving. She missed her dog Kobe after he left for heavenly abode. I am sure that they are reunited and enjoying it there.
It's a very gorgeous weather these days. We are very fortunate to stay in a city where the weather stays pleasant for most part of the year
