I just couldn't help myself, I had to do it.

I had to take a picture of these 2 tomatoes that grew together. Very, very tiny, and I thought they looked sort of like a snowman! So of course, I had to give it a face and some hair...
We just don't laugh enough anymore; I find myself looking for the funny things in life. So today, I present you with a ''tomato snowman'' and I hope you smile!

@MarieCoyle Nature is unique that way isn't it. And, those look yellow.

The two tomatoes joined together are not even 2 inches tall, so very, very tiny. Sometimes, nature provides us with vegetables in odd shapes and sizes, always interesting. Last week, I had the 5 pound tomato (which we ate!) and this week, this little critter can't even weigh an ounce.

Yes, they are a yellow tomato. Very mild and sweet, and very small!

The son laughed, so my efforts worked on someone. He knows I have a wacky sense of humor!

Today is definitely a better day for him. He finally slept last night, and that helps a LOT. Thank you for asking about him, I appreciate it so much.

@MarieCoyle See what happens when he knows he's cute? He feels entitled.

He is sitting up on the kitchen counter, for tonight. The son said, maybe the snowman tomato will do the dishes...but the lazy fellow never made any effort, so I had to do them. Ugh.

@MarieCoyle ......The ones you buy in the stores around here aren't that great. I've really gotten away from buying them. I wish we could grow some here.

When I lived in Montana, I grew tomatoes. Short season, but I made it work. My grandmother grew them in Canada. Do you not have a spot for a few pots of tomatoes?

@MarieCoyle If the conditions are right, I guess nature can get pretty creative! Did you end up eating the twisty carrots?

Sometimes, nature makes some oddities in her vegetable creations. We've had some strange ones over the years. I recall two carrots, they grew together in twists and turns, and looked like a true alien creature! It was so funny and unique, we enjoyed it.

Yes, I fixed them with the little grandsons, who thought they were hilarious. The older one said we were eating aliens!

Oh Wow, I didn't know you were an artist as well... But you know, what amused me they must here - it two things. First, of course the picture. Because they speak more than a thousand words... Oh just a light hearted comedy And secondly "I had to give it a face and some hair..."
One of the grammatical meanings is that you are compelled to give it some face and hair or you had no option but to do that... I'm just trying to put my point. It sounds a bit funny

@MarieCoyle How can a mother laugh and smile when she is having a son ill like this? I'm really sorry to say this. It doesn't at all look good when I said that. It's good that your son found some solace in this.
In such conditions it's really not easy to laugh or smile. Should I say one thing? I think your negative mentality makes you see all the bad and hatred everywhere. That's not the case Marie. You are more elderly and more matured than me. You have seen the world, the ups and downs more than me.
Don't get so negative in life. What's the world after all? You see it the way you yourself are. The world is a beautiful place to be. Smile! And be happy! I'll assume me small effort will pay off one day

@MarieCoyle I was only trying to be helpful to you and trying to cheer you up. I thought you spoke the way that I should give a couple of words of encouragement to you. But I am very happy for you that you said that you are always a positive person which is nice to hear!
And I'm definitely not going to criticize anyone for anything.

I will admit to sometimes being unconventional in an attempt to find some smiles and humor. My son, who has been ill for a long time, thought it was hilarious so my plan to make him smile worked well.
None of us laugh enough anymore. There is a lot of dissension and hate everywhere, and it’s making the world a rather sad place. So I look for smiles and laughter to light up the day.

I honestly didn’t realize that they were an oddity, many people in the Midwest grow a lot of different types of tomatoes.

When was the last time you heard anyone have a good belly laugh, the kind where the person laughs so much he/she can’t stop?? I can’t even remember when anyone around here laughed like that, it’s been way too long.
Laughter is good for the soul.
