I was good in acting and while at school I always got main roles. But when I joined college it was a different story
There was just one college and students from other schools came there. The school where I studied I could not say belonged to the rich and famous but there were schools where students from rich homes were studying When they arrived to study in the college all attention was given to them and we were toally ignored.
It was quite humiliating specially when looking at those acting on stage I know I could have done that better.
Never mind. Just sharing a bad memory

You were quite mature I notice to ignore them. As a student one is less mature.

@allknowing I must say that some of them did not graduate. They just played and did not pay attention to their studies.

I´m sorry for that. I had a very different experience. I never liked school but from there I went to the university. There I experienced freedom. It was awesome!

It’s the same here in the UK. The rich and those who deem themselves more important made sure their children got the best parts. Often they had speech impediments and were totally unsuitable for the part, but still got it over others more suitable.
I’m disappointed for you, and myself, as I could have been watching you in the latest movie blockbuster.

It's horrible when people are discriminated for being poor. That is why the world is full of incompetents.
