A lot of you are coffee or tea drinkers, and maybe some of you are both. How many of you just take your coffee black and your tea plain? Or, do you load these beverages down with a lot of add ins? I’m neither a coffee nor tea drinker.

I have almost an infinite number of flavored teas (drinking apple caramel as we speak), so the only thing I add is sweetener (Splenda).

@AmbiePam — it’s not as good as it sounds, even though it is good.

@AmbiePam just a little milk or creamer, whatever I have on hand. I don't put anything in tea though usually.Although milk is good in tea as well.

I can drink coffee black . . . but if I'm at home, I'll put in a splash of almond milk. Tea - I have it plain. But if I'm sick, I might add a touch of lemon and honey.

I love honey in tea. Those honey sticks are especially good for it.

@fivecandles And local honey also helps people build up a tolerance to allergies too.

@AmbiePam my local bee supply store carries local raw honey. They have the sticks and I usually leave some in my car for an unexpected glucose crash. Its so good!

I take black tea. But I love coffee too and enjoy taking it with milk and jaggery. In fact, I feel like a hot cup of jaggery coffee now!

@AmbiePam I just looked it up also. I want to try it! I think it would help my husband with diabetes. It has to be better than artificial sweeteners!

I am mostly a coffee drinker--hot only. Never got into cold coffee drinks other than an occasional Frappe in very hot weather. I just put a little bit of half & half in my coffee--no sugar. I do have a cup of hot tea every now and then in the winter and since you reminded me, I may have a cup tonight! It's a great beverage to warm you up! I drink my hot tea without any additives!

I like a little honey in my tea when I drink it, but I don’t usually have it a lot.

We were once upon a time tea drunkards. Now I am happy with just one mug and I like it with milk and sugar

I'm a coffee lover myself. I like a light dash of milk (never cream) and a light sprinkle of splenda. I'd like to give up the splenda, but I just cannot get to that stage, it is a bit of a pain just for the few flakes of it that I take. A coffee with milk only would be so much easier to order.

I'm a tea drinker. I just took it out of the microwave. It depends on the flavor of the tea. I like a lot of herbal teas. Some of them have a bite and need a little sweetening. Others are good plain. I use Monk Fruit zero calorie sugar if needed.

I enjoy my tea plain without adding anything. It enhances its benefits more without sugar or additives, I believe. Hehehe

I have had my coffee black on occasion, but I do at other times like the add ins. Flavored creamers, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, just to name a few.

Coffee is my drink of choice. It must be hot and black. Nothing better! Tea--I like it sometimes in the evenings or when I don't feel well. If I have hot tea, sometimes I sweeten it with a bit of honey.

I drink coffee both hot and iced, and tea both hot and iced. All versions have to be sweetened. - Coffee must have cream/milk. - Tea can have cream/milk if hot but not a must, no cream/milk for iced.

I tried black coffee because I heard it's good for your liver. I could handle the bitter taste. I do make most of my teas plain. The only one I don't is the tea concentrate I get for some mornings to take my pills with. I put creamer with it.

I drink both decaf tea and decaf coffee. l add a bit of soy milk, cinnamon and a tsp of natural brown sugar to both. I can have the tea without the milk - but not the coffee.

I used to drink soda a lot, but I gave that up because it’s unhealthy. I now drink water with add ins drops of flavor, and a drink called Clearly Canadian, which is sparkling water.
