I added an image for the first time to one of my previous discussions and it generate good responses. And that got me thinking about adding images to discussions and the responses it generates. I do agree visual content quickly capture attention of people and that could help a post to stand out. Plus, a picture could convey more than a thousand words. It does help to create a more persona; and relatable touch. At the same time, I have seen discussions with not so relevant images. I have also seen few discussions with images but did not generate significant responses. So, according to you does adding an image to discussion encourage more mylotters to respond?

I always add an image to my discussions. I think it will make my post much more attractive.

I try to add an image to all my posts. I try to find something relevant; otherwise I mention in the first sentence that there is no real connection to the topic. I just think it makes a post more interesting.

i think people search topics of their interest. Where the write ups are related to the areas of the interest they respond

Whether adding an image grabs attention or not I would feel like a "fish out of water" , if for some technical reason or other l find l cannot add an image. I just love selecting suitable images for my posts. In fact l have a gallery full of images waiting to be added to the right discussion.

I think it is. Personally, I am more attracted with discussions with photos.

It can grab attention. In a way, it can make your discussion stand out. But like you said, it’s not just about the image—it’s how well it connects to the topic or the topic of your discussion itself that really encourages people to respond.
