My new crocs

I wrote about going to the op (thrift) shop and buying a new-to-me jigsaw. I also picked up this pair of Crocs. I have crocs at home but they’re black and don’t have holes so my feet get quite sweaty in them.
I don’t really need a new pair but these were about a fifth of the price of a new pair so I took the opportunity to buy them. I find them quite pricey here so I’m pleased with my purchase.

Yes Crocs' shop people also say that theirs are high priced but they also say that in the end, their quality justifies the price !

Have you won the lottery, Judy? I’m sure it’s not that long ago you bought some new crocs.
I don’t like the ones with holes in as dust and muck seems to get into them too easily. Nice colour though!

@JudyEv Even at my ‘young age’ of mid-sixties, I am starting to consider whether I’m going to get plenty of years worth of use out of things to justify the cost. I’m not quite at the point of wondering if the fresh milk will outlast me. Especially now it’s homogenised.

@Orson_Kart I don't think the long-life milk can be expected to last for a decade or more.

Right blue, should be easy to spot; I wear crocs slot days this time of the year.

@JudyEv I wear sandals or flip flops in the summer. The crocs are a bit hot for that.

They look quite nice.
Crocs slippers & shoes are high priced but the ultimate in comfort as well as durability.
My wife used to wear Shoes from Crocs for many years.
They were quite durable and very comfortable.
I also want to purchase their shows but they are very expensive so I settle for Adidas/Liberty/Skechers.

Skechers still have more reasonable options.
Plus their shoes are more comfortable and light weight than Puma and Adidas at the same rate.
May be Puma or Adidas of higher rate could be better. Light weight I am not sure.

Wow! Those are bright! Are they glow-in-the-dark, too?
I always wear leather sandals from early Spring until late Fall and then I switch to tennis shoes for the Winter.

That's a good bargain. I doubt my toes would be comfortable in Crocs.

Thanks. In the house I sometimes go barefoot when it's hot.

They look good. Just like the ones I see in the market here.
I currently have black Crocs which are my first Crocs to ever buy. They will be one year old in April. I'm glad they are still in good condition

I could only get black when I bought mine but you can get them in all sorts of colours now.
