I haven’t been myself

March is almost over and I am glad for that. March is always a hard month for me. I’ve been in such a funk. My depression has been worse and I just don’t feel right . I think I’m either going through early menopause or Pcos. I’ll go to the doctor in a few weeks and see what’s going on. I asked my first cousins and sister if they went through anything similar. At the same age as me my one cousin learned she has Pcos and my sister found out she had fibroids. My issues don’t seem like fibroids though. I’ve been keeping busy. From now right through until about September will be busy busy. I’ll pop in when I can and when I feel up to it.

I’m so sorry to hear it. My niece has gotten into a worse “funk” this month, and it could be early menopause for her as well. Or the weather. I don’t think enough is done to inspect the influence on see-saw weather has on feeling down. Anyway, I hope you feel better quickly.

The weather played a big role in my winter moods and funk...not to mention the cold brought on aches and pains. I hope you get to feeling better and do pay a visit to your doctor to get checked out--to be on the safe side!

My niece was on the phone yesterday and talked about how restless she feels as she is concerned about this and that I told her to count her blessings and ask God for forgiveness for not doing it earlier. I am not asking you to do that

Good for you seeking out information to help you. Sometimes things go undiagnosed but they are right there in the middle of everything.

You probably need hormones, believe me, they help. Please take vitamin D3, that also helps.

I've never come across the term Pcos and had to look it up, which is odd, because I do have polycystic ovary syndrome. But I don't seem to have too much androgen. If anything, I don't have enough because I have very little body hair and my head hair is falling out.

A very close family member of mine has been going thru it as well. Started with silence, led to severe sadness. He ended up in a hospital for what looked like only a couple of days at first, and just when he started improving, he took a quick turn for the worse overnight. A little too quick for my liking. Turns out, this new, younger generation of idiot doctors began trying “new psych meds” on him right before discharge. I truly believe they went to med school online. Took me a minute to figure out what was going on. He was 100x worse than when he walked in. Once I saw what they were doing to him overnight when we’d all go home, I calmly approached the doctors and nurses in a very quiet way, so there would be no need to call security. I’m not gonna tell you what I said to them or how I threatened them (and their families) but what I will tell you is he is now resting comfortably on a medication that was prescribed by me. They’re taking orders from me now, and I’m doing the dosing as well. It’s a med he should have been on right from the start. That’s why I’m up so early, I’m still monitoring the situation. He should be out of there soon. So just a word of warning, if you do see a doc, make sure he is older and very experienced. Hope you feel better soon and get the right treatment, and for the love of God try to stay out of hospitals
