Cheesecake at the clubhouse

The photo has nothing to do with the discussion. These lambs were having such fun. You’ve seen it before. I don’t have all my photos back yet. Every Friday, it’s ‘social night’ at our clubhouse. A few weeks ago, only two people turned up, mainly because there was a music quiz on the next night and some oldies can’t cope with two late nights in a row. So numbers vary wildly from week to week. Last night there were over 30. We put in our orders for fish and chips, or pizza, during the day then one person picks up the orders and brings them back to the clubhouse. It works well. It was Vince’s birthday and we took a cheesecake to share but it wasn’t going to cut into 30 pieces. Luckily, another resident was having a birthday and, as the wife knew about Vince’s, she took two cakes so we were all able to indulge in a bit of sweetness after our main course. Vince had a great evening with a lot of fuss made of him and I think today is going to be a quiet day although we’re going to a concert this evening.
