Do U also find that it is Diffilcult to Start Discussions!!

I also feel as dissucions are hard to start but I try even though alot of them dont get many respones but I do have a coupe that had a good jump off. I wish that we could erase the one that didnt start off to good!!

I find it hard because everybody keeps complaining your repaeting post. Really though there is about 50,000 users how is it impossible not to write the samething as someone else? Thats why I stopped posting altogether and only answer discussions that way Im not breaking the guide lines.

I alsio find this hard. I have a few discusskions that has had alot of replies - but still i´ve had some other great topics that I really wished would have recived replies from india since it was about an indianz boy.. i migh repsot it later sometimes!

I have a problem w/ this also,I can be going through my evening & say to myself this would be a good discussion topic & the next day when I get online I've totally got writers block. Guess I'm not the only one who sits down puts my fingers down @ the keyboard then has a brain freeze You got +'s have a wonderful day :)

The hunt for the elusive HOT TOPIC continues..hehe..^^Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to make fun of your topic here, it's more the opposite, I symphatizing with you! That probably concerns most of the members here, more so the newbies, but it's interesting that you, with a triple digit rating would still be bothered by this. When your seeking to increase your earnings mostly thru discussions, it can be quite taxing and exasperating trying to come up with that topic that even just the 100 or so of the 50,000+ mylot users would bother to decently give their 2 cents to. More so, when you notice that some silly topics get about 150 or so replies. But a member such as you who's had the privilege (?) of being a member months ago, should have noticed that there are certain topics that are generating a lot of buzz and getting that number of responses that'll make the one who started the discussion smile from ear to ear. You can try creating one of your discussions by taking note of those topics. I'm not saying copying. Maybe you could try coming up with your HOT TOPIC thru those..then again, we simply just reply to other people's topics..Good Luck to us all!

I got great Ideas for discussion on hot topics but noones responding cuz there getting buried after all the crap discussions and one liners

Sometimes i feel the same way but everytime i post a discussion, i dont care how many would response!...All i want is to express my self through posting a discussion!...

Same as here ...I also find exremely difficult to start discussions..what topic ...what type of problems ,...what type of queries..I don't understand which one of that will get maximum responses..As of now I have started atleast 10-12 discussions and you will laugh that the maximum number of response I have got is 5 and manximum are with null responses..I always thinks which topic will create an interest to the people and they will respond to that..To be frank I have seen that the family problems and your own problems starts well in terms of getting maximum responses..

I dont agree that its difficult to start discussion. But, its hard to start a quality discussion. in my lot i have saw a discussion asking "do you laugh someone saying pooh" If you want to start discussion & get more response then one word questioned disussions can do that. But, i dont you will be paid for that. Other problem is that my lot deletes the discussion which is already started by someone. so, everyone who have posted will lose their ratings & dollars when they delete that discussion. you should also search that subject & question before starting discussion. But, I am discouraging you. there are more than 45,000 people & millions of discussions are there so dont about that much as they cant do that for every one.

yes i definitely agree with you.you are never sure whether your discussion will receive much responses or not.i started my only discussion in here some 12 days back and i didn't even get 1 response yet.such a pity.so i completely agree with you that its better to just reply than to start any discussion.you never know the secret to catch the interest of people in here.so just reply and enjoy mylot.all the best

Yes I am. I'm always conscious that they might not like the topic that I am posting and even to reply to other people's posts, I find it hard too co'z after reading all the other replies it's like "oh most of them have replied good already. and sometimes what I am thinking to reply is already there". But I think this is normal because I am new here and I am still just trying to learn and familiarize with everything around.

i know what you mean. i'm just new around here so i think i need a little more time to have ideas to post. i hope some of you could post some tips to make it easier for us newbies to start a discussion. as of now, i have only posted three discussions..hehe. i'm still hoping of thinking some other stuff to post.

YES I am finding it extremely difficult to start a discussion! Leave alone getting a decent number of responses...the thing that fears me most is that I will have 0 responses and that will be embarrasing and dicouraging soI haven't yet made up my mind to start a discussion.And it has also happened that wichever topic I have been thinking off to start I just happen to stumble across it just like this one! Had just thought of starting a thread like this but just came across it Looks like even God doesn't want me to start a topic Anyways its much better and gives a cozier feeling to kep posting in others discussion rather than to kick start one!

yes it seems difficult to find new topic,yet if you have own views than its not too difficult although some times two topic seems same but if read carefully there is some difference, than you can decide the orignal one & I feels if topic is new than you get more response.

t is not tedious iin starting a disscussion.but it determine ur intellectual and the way u see hingsi believe if u look around u ,u will everly get a disscussion.

Off course it's hard, you stare to the computer and think and think what should I write for this ...... to read and respond :D If you are lucky ever a dumb discussion gets a lot of answers just like that..

Well, you are correct. This is the problem of mine also. It quite difficult to start a discussion.

ya i am also in the same situation when i think of starting a new topic the topic is already chosen by someone else its kinda irritating and when i start a new topic the response i get is only 3 or 4 i have no idea what to do
