Need a quick dessert to serve when you get unexpected guests and you want to treat them? One of the quickest desserts I have made is using canned biscuit dough. Spray a round pan with non-stick cooking spray. Line pan with biscuits. Top with a small can of sliced peaches (drained). Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. You can use as much as you like. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice-cream or whipped cream.

Take those frozen cresent rolls, let thaw and pull their layers apart very carefully...
Insert (guess what?) crumbled or shaved chocolate and roll them back up... brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle them with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar, then bake them according to package directions...
Serve with coffee that been laced with a little Frangelico and you've just given your guests a little gourmet treat for pennies!
You can add crushed almonds to this mixture. Also try flavoring some cream cheese with the syrup that comes with marashino cherries and placing this next to the fresh hot rolls.

NOW you're talking! I thought of Nutella, which I love, at the beginning of the recipe, but thought that the product might not be widely available to everyone! :)

Oh, and I wonder how that would work with nutella? Spread it on the dough and roll it back up and bake...

I have another one that is so simple too and doesn't involve cooking. I posted it before but I'll post it here too.
Take a packet of chocolate chip cookies. Dip each cookie quickly in and out of a drop of sherry. Arrange the cookies in a line or a circle. Cover with whipped cream. Sprinkle with chocolate flakes. :)

Guess I should have added a recipe. This one is really, really easy, and non-fattening.
Take a package of Angel Food Cake Mix. Beat in a large can of crushed pineapples. Bake as directed on cake mix box. Top with whipped cream and fruit if desired.

Here is a super easy dessert.
1 roll of sugar cookie dough
spread on a pizza pan and bake for the alotted time.
Cool cookie!
Spread strawberry cool whip over top and top with fresh strawberries, blueberries & bananas. Your very own fruit torte.
Very taste with different fruits added. Will admit this is not the best on day 2.

Ok, all the yummy postings on this page made me hungry. Really. Kudos to all of you that posted such great recipes. Here is one that I use.
Toll House Pie
Notes:
Who can resist this one. I personally like to make mine with Ghiradelli
chocolate chips, especially the double chocolate ones.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. firmly packed brown sugar
1 C. Butter, melted & cooled to room temp
1 C. Chocolate chips
1 C. Chopped nuts
1 9 inch unbaked pie shell
Preparation:
In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy; beat in flour, sugar, and brown sugar
until well blended. Blend in melted butter, Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour into pie shell. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. May serve warm and top with
whipped cream or ice cream.

Ok I've gotten some nice recipes from this. I hope this one helps for you:
Take:
1 large can of fruit cocktail (with the syrup) mix it with 1 cup flour and 1 cup of sugar. Back at 350 for 1 hour until golden and bubbly. Serve with ice cream on top.
Hope you like it.

Like one of the other people said, if someone shows up unexpectedly, they don't get anything to eat at all...they are lucky if they get water! But I absolutely love quick and easy recipes like this, so I will be trying it out soon for my family! Thanks!
