I know, I had to post it, I thought it was really funny. Really gives the whole religion validity doesn't it?

Of course they have. Who's funding them these days? Why, it's Tom Cruise! he's donated more money to their cause than any other individual. I find it hilarious that people still take this religion seriously. L Ron Hubbard announced, years before he founded it, that if he was ever in financial trouble, he'd just create a fake religion and make money that way. And look, when he was bankrupt, he founded Scientology....

I laughed at the story, there was a story that accompanied it that he failed to convince Victoria and David Beckham to join. I feel sorry for poor Posh, when they move to the USA, they're going to get harrassed all the time by Tom and Katy.

Wow, that is frightening and scary. There is no way I would ever join a religion that claims Tom Cruise is their Christ. That is just nuts. Scientology is just a crazy religion that I believe celebrities came up with. They are not in the same state of mind as normal people, and acting the way he does would disprove any theory that he is Christ or holy. Wow, I am still laughing:D

L Ron Hubbard, a relatively bad science fiction author, founded Scientology for a tax exemption when he went bankrupt.

No, Cruise is NOT the "new Christ" - this was a false story that ran on a sleazy UK tabloid called "UK Sun"
The Church of Scientology already shot down this ridiculous claim on many news sites.

No Scientologist believes such idiocy. PEOPLE! Don't believe every rumor you hear.

Initially I first thought that was a joke, some kind of pre-April fool joke, even if it is true and excuse me while I finish laughing, who on earth picked Tom Cruise? Why him? People have a warped imagination! The world just gets crazier, thank you for sharing, certainly got the laugh it so rightly deserves out of me.

Oh you have to be kidding me?!
I guess they gotta keep their money rolling in. But he is such a fruitcake and I still don;t like him ever since the Brooke Shields episode.

The Greek word "christos" means anointed. The Lord Jesus Christ is the anointed of God. Jesus is the Lord and the Christ who is the Savior. Perhaps somebody but definitely not God anointed Tom Cruise as their lord and savior and that is not impossible. But only the Lord Jesus Christ can save!
The Holy Bible says that false christs and false prophets shall arise and now there are so many false christs and false prophets. Christians, beware!

Tom Cruise as the new Christ? How ridiculous. He is just a human like the rest of us, no better, no worse.
