Pet Names or Nicknames

My parents called me Mike and/or King. They told me nothing about why did they call me that name. Well, i just realized they just love the name and seems to be closer to God.. just like Saint Michael.. do i? lol

My rabbit's name is Bebe, which means nothing to me. But my kids' nicknames are all in Hawaiian: Kaiwi, Kaluna, and 'Ahi. Kaiwi short for Kaiwikoa means strong warrior/bones, Kaluna short for Kalunaokekai means overseer of the waters, and 'Ahi, short for 'Ahilelekapuhi means the ancient firebrands thrown prior to war in old Hawaii.

My ex used to call me "rehlein" which means little deer in German he said the first time he met me my eyes reminded of little deer.

Nickname I have a lot.My real name is Jennifer...Most people called me Jenny when I was young then when I became teen friends called me Jen..and my name had a different spell like Jennie, Jenie...Then I had some pen pals back then and they called me Chrissie Maddy Hynde taken from my favorite stars Madonna and Chrissie Hynde back then. Now in the call center business we have to change our names sothe Americans wont know we are Filipinos so they called me Paige..And I have been Paige for almost 2 yrs now.

When i was growing up my brother and i had names we would call one another to rile each other up with. I would call him baby boone and he would call me dirty sally. Boy we would get mad and try to rip one anothers heads off. We still do it now as adults but just laugh now.

Some of my friends call me pure because I have an innocent look about me lol.

My hubby calls me Juju, some of my friends call me jewel (real name is Julie) and my parents used to call me poupoune, a french word often used as a nickname, not sure exactly how to translate it though.

several years ago, a lady i worked with gave me the nickname of Weasel!..i actually like it, as I love Weasels and she meant it in such a nice way. It stuck!

ya my mom and dad used to call me sabze! its a bangla word and it means vegetable! my family name is sazib and it means fresh. since sazib and sabze has a lot common in pronunciation they likes to call me sabze! my girl calls me 'defy' the cartoon character of baby looney toons! and as i look a lot like harry potter when i put my glasses on my frnds calls me harry potter! looks like a man with different dimentions?

Well, that sounds really sweet and nice of your dad. My dad used to call me red bird when I was a little girl. I guess I was really red when I was born. Now I go by Lillie and Lydie.

I had yaya and haunee my little sister called me that when she was little she couldn't get out my name Shaunee untill she was 3. Now my neice was 7 months old and she had no problem saying my name. It's still funny thinking back about it.

My dad used to call me a pet name that always turned me on, make me feel good, loved, accepted and S-P-E-C-I-A-L! There were four boys before me and when i was born i was like an only girl in the house cos my elder sister was grown and mostly in school. so my dad will always say'the girl, the girl' and he said it so specially that i felt so important and it kind of encouraged me to always do things to impress him so that he can call me by my pet name.lol!

I got one baby name also that everybody uses to call me Nini which means pretty lady in Chinese.
