I noticed yesterday i posted less than half of what i normally post..but because i made an effort to uplad pics..more in depth postings..i made two bucks which was more than i expected...so getting best responses really pays off..i am trying to do my best to reply to as many discussions as i can..that is why i don't post a many of my own ..i am limiting my daily posts to around three a day..i think any more than that would piss everyone off lol..i think one of my frinds bless him must have posted around thirty !! i think he is a newbie and excited lol..and i think i will give him a gentle nudge in the right direction..cos i know we all get super excited when we first join..now i am learning more about the mysteries andmechanics of mylot..i hope we can all soldier forth together..in health, wealth and happiness..

i am in love with China..wo shi xilaren..wo hao Zhang fu Henanren..wo zhen de hao ai zhongguo..that is my chinese name..Yan is my Xiansheng's surname..wo de zhongguo mingzi ju fang..how is my mandarin lol?

That is great.. I have decided this week i'm going to try something different everyday and see which day I make the most at... I figure if i responded and posted a pic with ever response I would get at least 2 Cents for every response.. I'm with you I usually try to keep my new discussion between 3 and 5 a day... But one day this week I"m going to try and do alot and see how I get paid... So please respond..hehehe...today i'm trying the posting with pics things... Good luck.. if you get mylots figured out please share.

Taht's a good idea. though i wonder how do you get pics relevant to topics so easily esp. this picture you have posted with your discussion though. I also agree one shouldn't post too many discussions daily as one should reply more that helps at mylot.

I thought the pictures had to be photos you took yourself or pictures you drew yourself because of copyright.

That is some good information to know, and thank you for sharing it with us. I also try not to post so many discussions, i usaully respond to more than i post anyways. Just for the fact that i always find the question on here that i want to ask. It's already been asked one time, so i don't see any since in asking it again. if you know what i mean.

Congratulations on the $2.00 day. I believe that putting best effort in to all of our responses rewards us in the long run. Plus it just so much more fun to feel that you have contributed to the discussion. I have had several of those days here recently where I've posted less but still the earnings are higher. We must be doing something correctly. Keep up the good work and sharing your experiences. Good luck to you here at mylot!

I have just followed the guidelines. I really don't think that I have done anything that I haven't seen lots of other people doing. I do try to stay away from anything that may be a trivial response. If I can't leave minimum of 4 lines I don't respond. That's about it. :)

I also try to give quality posts, to give good answers to questions asked and to tell the truth. Perhaps other people do not like my posts as much as I do, because the last several days I have received less than 20 cents each day. What I doing wrong that I do not receive more money? I am not trying to complain, I only ask that if you see what I am doing wrong please email me and let me know so that I can improve.

Well I do agree with you. It's only quality posts that pay you. And not just replying senselessly to any and every post. Many members on this site give one-line illopgical answers just for the heck of making money. Am sure the next day, they must be wondering as to why don't they make as much money. Well the fact is that it is the quality and not the quantity of posts that really pay. Also, there is a need to give detailed answers that can well be understood by others.

Do you mean that if your response gets "the best response" from somebody, you will earn more for that? but what if you wrote a very nice and "helpful" respond but the person who started the discussion didn't give you "the best response", would you still earn much for that response? or did it just depends on what the person how started the discussion thinks?

Very True. Quality posts do really pay you big time. Your posts should not contain spelling errors and they should be directly related to the tags given to the discussions. Originality also counts alot. COpy pasting doesnt pay you much because it can be tagged Negative by the discussion owner.

I must concur, that quality posts do fetch a bit more per posting. It makes me think that perhaps there is a word or character count variable in the algorythm. I shall leave that to the mathmeticians however, as I never took calculis and have no clue about the workings of this complex science. Mylot is counting quality with a heavier marking pen, true enough.

Yeah i agree that posting quality discussions do pay. But one try to add something new to discussion to the replies that have already been posted as according to mylot guidelines we should read other posts in discussion so we don't copy or repeat others exactly.
Besides i also like to reply to lot more discussions as i dont' feel like starting new discussions if it is not new or something i really like to discuss about. Besides it makes lot more sense replying discussion, earning wise too i feel. Besides i don't know how do you all manage to get images relevant to discussions so easily . Yeah best responses also do help i feel.

Thank You friend.... Though I joined a few many days back... in the last year actually.... but then still not being a very newbie i post a lot of self discussions and have never recieved more than three posts to any discussions...sad :-(
But yes i got so many frnds here... and knowledge too,....

Hi ya, I thought I hadn't seen alot of your posts highlight up to me today!! I'm trying to stick with 3 or 4 good postings too! I didn't earn anything yesterday as I wasn't around by the day before I earned quite abit from around 4 discussions with pictures posted and answering about 40 discussions! :-)

I completely agree with that statement. I would see many post that they made a dollar or more but they were on for hours and posting 100 or more. That at first stressed me out. I was thinking there's no way I can do that many posts a day! I stopped trying to reply for many posts and instead focused on only discussions where I knew it would take time and be a quality response. Now I post less but still earn a decent amount per day. I think also it is a newbie thing. We all get excited when we first come here and perhaps go a little nuts :)
