Yup, you are right, many just read the heading and begin to type some totally off-the-topic reply. I have had this happen so many times. To think, they are earning for doing this too. So very sad. I had a topic once with the headline 'don't take a bath' and yet, the discussion was about skin care. You don't know how many blasted me for lack of hygiene!!!

Lol . by the way you scared me a lot. I have few friends on mylot and you are among best of them. I was very nervous when I saw the heading. You have no right to scare the hell out of your friends lol . Anyway even I'm enjoying out here. Nice to have a friend like you.

Well, it's nice to know it isn't true lol Yes I noticed that a lot of people respond depending on the title or from their first impression about the topic, I guess they just want to make as much posts as possible in their online time to maximize their earnings but it isn't fair, also i noticed many people starting discussions and never come back to read and comment on responses, they just leave all questions unanswered and it's frustrating. I try to make as much posts as possible too especially when I'm trying to reach minimum payout level before the end of the month but i make sure to read everything correctly first. I want to make money but also want to make it fair.

Ha Ha nice one there! I agree that the heading of the post is the main attention getter - how else is one supposed to make the discussion inviting to others?! I, however do read the entire discussion before I respond and i'm glad you're not going anywhere! lol

We have to post any type of discussion that can generate a response from the community so yours is not different to the ones that have said that before and are still here at mylot posting more discussions. have a nice day from Deeeky.

Yes, there are so many people is mylot replying the post base on the topic only. For me, I do not. Because I am not sure about what is the post about if I just read the title of the discussion, and how can we answer to that post? What do others think?

Well, I have to say such phenomenon does exists. Many people just read the headlines and begin to respond without further understanding of what the discussion is acturally about. That's irresponsible attitude, both to the discussion-starter and to the responser. We know that quantity does not matter much in mylot, and what works is the quality. So, those who just read the headlines could not respond something accurate. They aim at earning much by responding much. Such action will not bring them benefits, cause mylot staff are on guard all the time. best wishes to all!

sometimes I post based on the title, somtimes I read everything and post, sometimes I read everything and decide that I have nothing to add.

My God, how can one respond just only by reading the headline? I do not. I generally read it from the beginning to the end.

hahaha what a great idea for a discussion. I do feel it is true, very few people actually do read the blurb of a discussion under the headline. However, why is this a problem? Maybe if discussion headlines were always related to the discussion, this level of confusion wouldnt happen at all. Just a thought. blessed be

There are a lot of people who only read a few words and then comment. It is sad because there is always so much more to a post than the first few lines! Glad to hear you aren't going anywhere ;)

LOL good one :) I'm sure that most people do read the lines under the title at least. How can you answer based on the title alone? I do read the complete post, and I read the answers to. I"m afraid I don't do it in the proper order though. I am supposed to read the discussion starter and then the responses so far and finally answer myself. I tend to read the discussion and answer first. I do this because sometimes I have something in mind for the answer but if I start reading the other answers my response can be influenced by what I read. So I read the post, answer and then read all the responses. Still, I read LOL

Hi mummyofthree, Glad your not leaving..mylot is a great place to get advice, hear peoples opinions and basically just have fun...I can tell by this post you were looking to have fun. It's sad but true lots of people just respond without reading. Personally I wish I was paid for the reading I do here rather than the posting...I would have alot more chashola than I do now.LOL. glad to know I'll be seeing you around mylot in the future..

Hey Friend you really surprised me out, coz I thought you were one of friends from my li'l circle and you are quitting. But you are a realllllllllllll tricky.....I do agree with your point, we should read a discussion completely atleast to give a good and useful response. But gr8 having this from your side.
