I have been a member of mylot for about a week now, and met some great people here, that I have put on my friends list. My question is how many of you are considered loyal to your friends, I have seen this in a few discussions, about how people are complaining about how people only respond to discussions started by thier friends. I know for me personally, I do check my friends post first , and reply to all that pertain to me, but then I go looking into my intrests for other peoples discussions. that way i can make more friends,. How many of you actually check your friends discussion posts and reply to them on a regular Basis?

I think this should goes without saying, it's too sad that some mylot members don't respond to their friends discussions :( As my friends list keep growing I can't respond to everything or everyone but it's my main source for finding discussions to respond to, the first place I check and sometimes I don't find the time for anywhere else.

This is similiar to my situation. My friends discussion list is so long that it takes up all my time on mylot, but i do add friends from those discussions that i am responding to , so I am never just searching for a discussion to post on.

Actually, I have my friends on notification so that I get each new discussion that they post directly to my email. But I will also go through my best friend/sister's discussions that she responds to. It is more interesting to go through those discussions because we are very much alike. And often, we find that our responses are alike too. But I also like to respond to her responses....or would that be comment to her responses. LOL Anyways, yes, I check my friends first...while also going through others discussions from my sister's page...and then I like to go through news and then interests.

When the email notification is working I respond to my friends discussions almost exclusively. They make enough to help me reach the 50 responses per day that I seek to do. Since it has not been working, am I have emailed Management about it, I have had to go trolling for discussions to respond to. Thus my list of friends grows. I like meeting new friends and am wondering what will be my limit as to being fair about responding to all my friends at that time. Good luck to you and please wish me luck also!!

I'm loyal to my friends in as much as I can be. By that I mean that there are some discussions that I can't respond to, whether it be because I have no knowledge of the topic at hand or because I don't have any advice. This doesn't make me unloyal to them. I check my friends discussions after I've been through the top discussions of the day. I find a lot of times that discussions started by my friends are in the Top discussions of the day anyway. But I always check because most times there are also discussions in there that I can answer that may not be in the top discussions.

I know what you mean, personally, there are some discussions my friends start that I just have no knowledge to contribute. I'm not being unloyal, I just don't have anything to say about it.

I've only been a member for a couple of days, but I haven't made any friends. Most of the responses to my posts have just been b.s. It seems like a lot of the people here are just rambling on and trying to write as much as possible to earn more I guess.

I agree with zukeper, I enjoy responding to and starting discussions. The money is just an added feature. I mean here you can give your opinion on just about any topic you can think of. And if mylot wants to pay me for it, then great. But I really like to hear what other people have to say, and share my own feelings as well,.

I get friends and put the notify on and go through their discussions first and then go to others. I do reply to ones that I feel I can answer but not all of them.

I think Im loyal to my friends on mylot. And you dont have to constantly answer your friends discussions. Because if I dont like something they are saying I wont respond to it. I think Im a good friend.

Hi, I think alot of people are loyal to their friends on here as sometimes thats who replies to your posts. I've got some discussions on here that have only been replied to because of my friends. If I'm honest, when I don't have much time, then all I will do is look at my friends discussions as I want to stay loyal to them. I look through most of their postings at least once a week when I have time. When I have done this, then I will post on other peoples discussions, or if one catches my eye like this one then i'll answer it as it interests me.

Maybe its kind of some priority that you check and reply to your friend/s first. Friends are special and thus we treat them special better than somebody else we dont know before. Such relationship (friends) is not easy to build. To be a friends there must be a same common among them, but everyone has a different view of their common. Some people only friends who are vegetarian, other even make friends becouse they feel happy while they interacting each other.

I have to admit that I do check my friends' discussions on a regular basis through out the day. However, I only reply to those discussions which truly resonate with me on some level. I would hope they would do the same for me, but I wouldn't want any one to just answer my discussion topics because I was their friend. Loyalty is great, but I prefer keeping the discussions real on my part and if I'm answering just on the basis of friendship alone, then I am departing from what works for me.

I just joined mylot some minutes ago and your topic caught my attention.Loyalty is an important issue in any relationship and as far as I'm concern its bedrock. In responses to discussions, ones friends are normally the ones everybody will respond to first that does not mean one cannot look at other discussion of interest from other potential friends. If you only concerntrate on posting from your friends the main purpose of this site will be lost, that is making new friends and contributing to topics which will benefit others. So be loyal to your friends and at the same time accept new ones.

hello there im also a neophyte in mylot and only have few friends.well, to make friends loyal to you is to be consistent to the people you consider as your friend.true friends doesn't mean in just a physical and moral intuity.it is base on the genuine relationship that last long and indeed true friends is always there when you need it in your helpless time.this may also apply in our list of friends here online.

Generally speaking,I am interested in the top of the person, but not the person itself.so if our have the same interests and tops ,the loyalty will not be important to check, but if you want to be friends at the reality world ,that is another thing.
