prestocaro Sucks, doesn't it? Picking out a gift/card is the worst when you don't know the person or love them... You say "used to": she doesn't ask you to do that any more, or she isn't your boss still?

prestocaro thanks for the response! As you mentioned, I do need to start evaluating my prospects elsewhere. I think now that I'll have more time to do my own job, I will be leaving work at a more reasonable hour and will thus have time to actually look for a better job.

prestocaro oh, I get that one, too. Now I'm just doing what I want to do, all the time. I've decided it's silly to go through this whole rigmarole. If someone doesn't like my suggestion, they should just come up with their own instead of shooting mine down.

prestocaro exactly! Often I can only think of what we've eaten/where we've gone lately. Then we do it all over again, lol. The best is when they say "I don't care" and then I propose something and it gets shot down.
