rafr32jn I love reading both biographies, and autobiographies. My favorite series of memoirs were the Frank McCourt series. The first in the series is angelas Ashes. If you haven't read it, I encourage you to do so. It makes for a good read.

I used to be able to keep my concentration long enough to be able to sit and write relatively long stories, but as my attention span has shortened considerably, I write more poems than anything. Which do you prefer to write?

rafr32jn I think, that in regards to which I prefer to write, I'd have to say it depends on my mood. I have moods where free verse poetry is appropriate. Then, I have other moods where a short story cures my writers bug.
