Which is the better way to learn japanese or any other language, Self-study or be tutored? I self-study Japanese and I'm having a hard time remembering the new words.

ratburn it's fun to get a tutor because you can share the language and conversation is a good thing in learning a new language. you'll be able to learn the words when you use it and having a tutor can practice your conversational skills.

ratburn no i don't listen to music while working on my PC because i can't concentrate on whatever i am doing. i get distracted easily. i have to focus on one thing at a time.
