through the years, we learn a lot from being a wife. we no longer are the same sweetheart our husbands courted and eventually married. we become tough individuals who have to protect our family and our home more than ourselves.

rdnecgirl I guess over the years I have become the healer, the giver, the one that goes without. But that's ok. Soon the kids will be gone, and then I can do for me! But ya know...just once I would like someone to make a birthday cake for me! LOL

rdnecgirl Seems that when I am in a potluck gathering, I always take the spinach dip. I make a bread bowl, hollow it out and put the dip in there. The pieces from the hollowed out bowl are what we use to dip with. I will also buy a loaf of french bread and chop that up...

rdnecgirl I think you may be on to something there! I have two teenagers and a 9 year old. All boys. So yeah...they seem to think it is pretty funny to make mom yell at one or all of them! I just look at them and tell them they are KILLIN ME! Simply Killin me!

rdnecgirl You can also put them together (sorta chop them up) in an old candle cantainer and put them on a candle warmer. I would be careful mixing too many scents though. You might end up with a an ICKY smell! :)

rdnecgirl I LOVE CANDLES!!!!!!!! LOL I have a Lilac one that is almost gone, because I love it so much! I sell candles, so I am particular to one brand, but in a pinch..any candle will do! :) hehehe

rdnecgirl I try to eat before I got to the store. Otherwise, like you, I will put everything that looks good in my cart! But I do make sure I have a list with me. If I dont have my list...then forget it. I have spent way too much and actually not even bought anything...
