rosdimy s yours an integrated motherboard? The lost' RAM is most probably used by the integrated graphic chip. Your pc would probably go slightly faster, but you may not notice it. But then your graphics chip needs some RAM to run.

rosdimy Have you tried using UFOSeek search engine? This search engine focuses on articles and websites dealing with the paranormal. As a part time ghost buster I have met several demons. Generally not nice creatures, and full with deceit.

Whenever I start using the Internet, the modem of the broadband connection gets extremely heated. Can you postulate the reason of such heat production and suggest any remedy for it?

rosdimy Apart from ensuring good ventilation, I place an empty tin can on top of the modem. This helps in the cooling process. Usually I have my modem switched on 24/7 since there are many Internet users in the house.

rosdimy Other than a possible virus attack, try looking at the physical aspect. . Possible dying hard disk. . When was the last time you cleaned your computer? An overheated system can also be a contributing factor.

rosdimy Take a look at Comodo Dragon. The browser uses the same basic engine as Google Chrome, and protected by Comodo. I do not always use it because I prefer Opera, and have Comodo Internet Securiity installed

rosdimy I rarely switch off my modem or PC. So far I have not faced any major overheating problem. One main advantage is that my IP address remains the same.
