Today I went to CVS Pharmacy today. I had a few things to get that was on sale. I saw a plain fleece throw that was 50x60 for 7.99. I got this idea. I know how to do some really nice edgings for crochet and I know how to do...

I have never taken a vacation out of Canada. In fact, I don't do much travelling at all. I go for little trips usually only about 100 miles from home and the most time I stay is 2-3 days. Three years ago I went away for 3 months...

School vacations here in Canada are the months of July and August. So school will be starting next week for most. They will have a 2 week break at Christmas in Dec. and another 2 week break in early Spring. Thank you for your comment.

I joined this auction site almost a year ago. I'm finding the sales quite slow and I'm wondering how anyone else is doing there. The trick is to advertise, as everyone seems to go to the well-known auction site. I still sell...

I agree that some keep their prices rather high, but I think there are still some good buys there. And thank you, yes, I do all the crocheting that's in my store. I haven't done much this summer though, but with winter coming I'll have lots of time for that....

I would hope that most would keep their prices down, as there are not the high listing fees, but there are some that won't. However they just won't get the sales. Thank you for your comment.

I love working on doll and baby size sets. They're so pretty and work up faster. I don't seem to have the patience to do anything larger anymore. I've done so many afghans, I don't think I ever want to do them again...but I've...

My four-year-old granddaughter is grounded. Seems she was up to mischief at her daycare centre yesterday. She wrote on the floor with permanent marker and one of the pop-up books doesn't pop up anymore. Granted, a four-year-old...

I have the idea that the supervision could be a little slack. And the grounding was the parents idea. To top it all off, her blanket got ripped yesterday and the tears were flowing when she thought it had to go to the garbage. So Dad dropped it off here this...

Thank you so much, you've made my day. Now I just have to figure out how to do a template and all the entries to make on it. I know what you mean by the 'faces only a mother could love', I don't know what they see in them. I guess 'beauty is in the eye of the...

You could probably find some patterns on e-Bay for all kinds of cloth dolls. I haven't been listing my patterns for a while now, but may start again in the Fall.

You're right, groceries are too expensive to be throwing away. I kind of like leftovers, they're easy on the cook.

Thank you, I sell other things on e-Bay and I'm also on Etsy. There's so many nice ones on e-Bay that I'm nervous about putting mine on. But maybe I'll give it a 'go'.
