Is it healthy for oldies to sleep a lot?

This is just one observation I had with our 97 years old grandma. She sleeps a lot, is this normal for oldies?

sexyterry Yes, this is normal. This is not because they are lazy but because their bodies are not fit to do physical activities anymore.
