some people dont have a good feeling towards borrowing money from a friend, thay may just think the act is kinda shameful or even degraded~~so they never borrow money from others
are you the same kind of person as them?what is...

shlooper I do not like borrowing money from people. That being said, I don't have to borrow money from my close friends. I am financially responsible enough to take care of major expenses. The only time I would need to borrow money from them would be for small things...

Why is sunday made a public holiday and not any other day of the week? A day off during the week is not equivalent to a free sunday. It gives no opportunity for attending church or for family reunion. Only sundays make it possible...

shlooper For some people sunday is much more restful than it is for others. For instance, in my family even though it is supposed to be a day of rest, it is generally spent working at the church all day. Really, for most of them, its not any rest. I do not go to church...

life is too uncertain and things tend to get ugly when there is money involved... so would you still share banks accounts with him?

shlooper I would not share a bank account with my boyfriend. It isn't that I don't trust him, it is that I am a control freak. Plus, a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship getting a bank account together seems dangerous to me. It is too easy for one or the other to leave...

So we are all "online people". We chat online, we shop online, we earn extra money online, we read the news and watch tv online.
And for every "online" thing we do, we have to be a member or open an account or in some way,...

there's a new breed of dudes who claim to be devoted to their women, yet still won't bag the bachelor life completely. would you know why?

shlooper I think for some of them it is because they don't want the commitment and responsibility ect. If we look to the entire generation of young people, they are living at home longer, and just in general taking longer to join society. I guess since 21-28 are the...

Can you believe this? Nancy Pelosi has written a book that she has been promoting on all the talk shows this week. It is called KNOW YOUR POWER: A MESSAGE TO AMERICAN DAUGHTERS. Well, it is apparently a bunch of propaganda BS and...

shlooper Sometimes there is more to censorship than meets the eye. You are certainly correct that there is a good chance that it is hypocritical partisanship. However, there is also the chance that people did not actually read the book or were in other ways violating...

Religion?
I thank my lucky stars, that I was raised in an environment, where religion wasn't crammed down my throat. You might say I've had a pretty "interesting" upbringing when it came to religion. My mother's side of the...

If you go to church on Saturday night or Sunday morning, do you sleep in church when you go? We have a few that if they are not sleeping on a given week I wonder if they are okay:)

shlooper I fall asleep in church nearly every single week. Part of this is because I never really hear anything new, and part of it is because I tend to work evenings and then stay up late and church is early in the morning. The other part is that I attend this church...

shlooper My name is Rachel, and people call me "Rache" all the time. I don't mind it enough to correct people, but it is funny to me, when my friends call me by my full name and the only people who shorten it are people who don't know me very well at all. It seems like...

I always best recommend to my friends the "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey, as the best book I considered favorably.
