Sorhan depends on if you're trying to setup your new router to access someone elses access point or if your accessing your own router. and as well how well you know how to setup security on your systems. if you really need help with this, try posting what you are...

Sorhan very minimial ports, one USB, no monitor/svid out or anything. only a headphone jack, i think the "mic" is built in there by the webcam. also, have you SEEN the price on those blasted things?! 1800 USD for the most stripped down model! i should note as well,...

Sorhan it's only sweet until software driving the touch part of the screen starts to fail. I can bet you were looking at the HP TouchSmart(r), I know a couple people with them, they're decent computers, but that's about it. they still end up using the good ole...

Sorhan Amen, that's all I can really add. even though i've had my share of issues with my Toshiba laptop, it's outlasted my Sony and Dells by many months.

Sorhan Hardware manufacturers CAN NOT make a computer such that you can not install XP on. That being said, almost all hardware does have Windows XP drivers out there some where, finding them is usually pretty easy. Please, if you're going to post information...

Sorhan As Leppie Pointed out, heat and power issues are very big concerns on Laptops. as well, if you look at processor speeds on desktops, you'll notice that there aren't that much in gains there either, what you WILL see are the number of "cores" increasing....
