Sorhan bottom line, potentially yes you could. but be advised that not every laptop CD drive is going to fit in every laptop, same with battery. while hard drives will generally fit, you need to make sure what type your mainboard supports. as far as a "new" mainboard...

Sorhan still using a wired modem here, however, i do run the connection to a wireless router, and then out to various computers, xbox's, and what not. i haven't personally used any of these "wifi" modems, i'm assuming your talking about a usb or pc card style...
