Why does people did not believe in God?

Why people do not believe in God even when they have nothing to prove for themselves that they cannot do extra ordinary things by themselves? They keep on questioning the existence of God but they do not question how they exist?

Springlady Hi richshie, I believe some people claim they do not believe in God because they want to live their own lives their own way...sin and no consequences. They do not want to have to answer to someone much higher than they are. But the truth is there IS a God...
