playmateshorty Most places have been taken over by the younger crowd. Creating drama and unnecessary situations. Find a bar that has a 30 -50 age limit! good luck hun!

SomeCowgirl My fiance and I haven't yet gone to the country bar in our area, but he has been there. I'm not sure about this one, but I don't think it's been over run with teenagers and crazy dances / hoochy clothes. Not sure where to reccommend ya!

missybear I live in Vegas and there seems to be construction going on everywhere. They always building more casinos and houses everywhere. I know it's gotten a little slower this year but i think there is plenty of work.

msmargo It is happening other places too. I live in Santa Cruz, CA and building is down here. The only projects under construction are those that received funding before the freeze on funds.

max1950 i figure sooner or later maybe a year and 1/2 things will start changing here so if you have the means to pick up a million dollar condo for 200,000 and change and in most cases the realtor is picking up the closing costs here and have a little xtra for taxes...

I was going throw recipts today and i found a gas recipt from 4 months ago where we paid $3.89 a gallon and now it is $1.65 here. What has gas done in your area i was wondering how low it has gotten.

vanonas Gas has also gone down to about $1.65 where I live too! It used to be about 3.99. It's SO great that it has gone down. I don't have to worry about spending $100 a month just buying gas. I drove down to Florida with my family over the summer and getting gas...
