AnjaP You could take the word of the officer because he wasn't the only one there. The second officer on the scene who is latino, wrote in his report that Professor Gates was being belligerent and causing a public disturbance. Another officer on the scene was black....

fwidman I never debate religion. I may answer a discussion in that subject but never to debate, that would truly be a waste of time and energy. With politics, you can at least antagonize some people and have a little fun with them

spalladino You're right, this board is hard on your star rating. I was a perfect 10 before I started posting here. Some folks do use the + and - button as a weapon because they don't agree with someone but I only use it when someone is being a total a$$....
