What do you dislike most about rain?

superchook I love the rain, mainly because where I live, we really need the rain. I don't like getting wet in the rain though. I could sit at the window for hours (if I had the time) and watch the rain.

superchook All of my pets are just like another child for me, this includes my chickens ( I know it's sad) lol! I love animals though and the one thing I love about an animal is the way they love you back.

My son gave me a lighter to use for my candles. It is in the shape of a gun. We were goofing around and just as I lit it he bent his head down and his hair caught fire...My son and his girl were laughing and my hubby in pounding...

superchook I had to laugh when I read this, I am glad your hubby was ok. My husband has done a similar thing before. He was sitting down having a smoke and the end of his smoke came off and landed in his beard. I looked over at him and saw smoke coming out of his beard....

Alarm clock or internal clock?

Are you one of those people who wake up at a given time without the help of an alarm clock or do you need an alarm clock to wake you at a given time? If you wake by an internal clock, how did you train yourself to do this?

superchook I definitely need my alarm clock otherwise I wouldn't wake up. Quite often my kids get me up before the alarm though, so I guess they are my alarm clock.
