TechWiz Avast is probably one of the best free anti-virus programs out there because it has real-time scanning of files and includes a DOS scanner that can be scheduled to run prior to leading any system files that are not necessary for critical system operations...

TechWiz Avast also has a free Home version that has nearly everything included in the Pro version

What linux distro?

Which one do you like and why? My personal favorite DSL linux. Becuase I can run most of my daily programs and utilities from a Thumb drive (256mb model that was a previous MP3 player).

TechWiz Ubuntu is pretty good but its a full distro and therefore will not fit on a flash drive. Other than Ubuntu I've tried RedHat and Fedora but neither compare to Ubuntu as far as I know. Yellow Dog for the PS3 is pretty good too with its Enlightenment interface.

Easiest way to tell if someone's a geek

Help me out. I think I;m a geek yet I haven't come out yet. How does one really know for sure? Are there any outwards manifestations? Is the fact that I;m on Mylot the whole day make me a geek?

TechWiz Amazon.com is always a good place to check for those odd things you just can't find anywhere else but want it new. Fingerprint scanners on Amazon seem to range from $10-$80 or so. If all else fails try eBay.com

They're just seemed weird because they do things alone most of the time, maybe we could break these impressions if we could giev them a chance to be with us and share what they have for us and maybe we could also help them improve...

TechWiz I think you're confusing Geek with Nerd here because a geek is more socially apt while still being intelligent. Bill Gates would be considered a geek because he created an Operating System from scratch yet hes out and about often. The technician that would fix...

which of the two is the best console for you? ME?, it's definitely Wii. It's cheaper and it's interactive. More value for your money and a form of exercise, esp. when you play those interactive sports like tennis and the like.
