CarolDM I am sorry. My Dad always worried he would have to go to a nursing home. He passed in the hospital. Thankfully I was there. All you can do is savor the moments and memories.

Fiacre Banks @teenal Apple crumble is such wonderful comfort food that it has to be home made. I would never even order it in a restaurant. So disappointing for you. Do you make custard to pour over it? I’m getting excited now.

AmberLynn You enjoy it. I know how you feel. I have no kids, but when I am able to get away from the family I live with, I relish it. I'm always picking up after someone here. A few weeks ago I pet-sat at a friend's and had the whole house to myself for days.
