thinksf Yeah, horror films from the 1960s and 1970s are way scary, that is why I like them! They're much scarier than the blood and guts/gore stuff made nowadays.

thinksf Thanks for your input. I do think it will be good to try it when I'm young. My girlfriend surprisingly is behind this move for me and thinks it will be good for me. Having her support makes making the decision much easier.

thinksf Yeah, the Alex Cross series are good, but I'd say the Alex Delaware series are more well-written and definitely more "thrilling." As far as the films go, if I had to pick only one, I'd go with Kiss the Girls.

thinksf It's not really a Michael Moore type documentary in that it's not self-"activisty" or self reflective, but it is an interesting documentary nonetheless. It is the film the Jack Black movie "School of Rock" is based on. Definitely worth a watch.
