I can't really remember getting any white elephant gifts in my past that were especially bad, but then again, I'm kind of an eclectic person and like obscure, weird things.

I've been debating on whether or not I should start making my own clothes and just recently I decided the answer is yes, so I make a plain, black, cotton circle skirt and sewed it by hand because I'm scared of the sewing machine...

toothbrushglue well, i think i'm far from earning a living....after i washed the skirt some of the seams came out, especially around the waistband, lol! after resew the ripped seams, i guess next time it'll have to be hand washed

toothbrushglue mostly tutorials online have been the biggest help to me. I think starting small is the wisest thing to do, like mending holes in clothes, hemming pants, etc

my pet woke me up and now i can't go back to sleep so i've been up for several hours and that animal is lucky i love them more than anything in this world and would probably literally save them from a burning building
