udayrao2 Hi like me - and most of the Indians, they prefer to carry lunch boxes only when they are too young or distance too far to walk or commute home from the school for lunch in the one-hour lunch break!!!

udayrao2 Rice made me feel sleepy- and did not want to add to that with some of the already boring lectures!!! So naturally avoided that unless the school was getting over earlier than usual or the classes after lunch were interesting for me.

udayrao2 Hi I think- though I myself am a vegetarian- eating meat does not add weight, unless you eat all the fat with it or combine with starchy foods like bread / rice, or th meat itself is cooked in a lot of oil or fat-rich sauce. Yes only vegetables also help...
